First contact & aliens · Absurdism

How we choose booksFinding your way around this shelf
Check whose authority receives the challenge, whether human or alien. The profiles describe the encounter and the comic target. Consider whether you want playful exchanges or sharper mockery of the institutions claiming to speak for an entire civilization.
Humor is personal. Our labels describe supported traits, not a promise that every reader will find the same things funny. How we classify books.
