A Ghost in Shining Armor
Gemma Daniels usually helps ghosts finish their business. Levi Walker arrives to help her instead: reuniting Gemma with her long-lost twin could earn him a return to life. An impulsive kiss complicates the assignment, and pretending to be a couple seems the easiest way to explain his presence.

What makes it funny?
Becoming solid leaves Levi with ordinary problems that a ghost might reasonably hope to avoid: he needs food, clothes and somewhere to stay. The couple’s efforts to explain him bring more deception. Readers in romcom groups offer it when someone asks for ghosts and laughter.
The comedy at work
Gemma also meets her twin while pretending to be a fan of her books. Keeping that secret while maintaining a fake relationship gives her several stories to keep straight. Publishers Weekly singles out the comic narration as the romance develops slowly.

For readers drawn to fake dating, a ghost hero and family questions with emotional weight. All About Romance praises the leads’ mutual care, while finding that the crowded, heavier plotting sometimes gets in the way of the jokes.
Good to know
Adoption, concealed family history and separation from a sibling matter to the story. This follows the other sister from And They Lived Happily Ever After; All About Romance says you can read it without starting there.
