What makes it funny?
These elves have plumbing trouble and no reliable internet. Colton’s usefulness depends on his willingness to take up a wrench, giving the magical setting problems familiar to anyone who has waited for a repairman.
The comedy at work
The job comes with a game class: trailer-park management becomes a fantasy vocation. Grand expectations of another world meet the demands of keeping a household running.
Try this if…
Readers who like low-stakes fantasy adventures built around household projects have a repair job to follow here.
Good to know
The romantic setup is a harem: several women become involved with the central male character.
