Strapped into alien restraints, Cal assesses the furniture and thinks back to a call-center job he found even worse. His captors can take him across the galaxy without improving his opinion of office interiors.
The comedy at work
Cal keeps measuring unfamiliar technology against familiar annoyances. Once he joins the crew, their mutual hostility gives the adventure another source of friction: these are people who have to work together and would rather argue.
