# Orconomics: A Satire

By J. Zachary Pike · The Dark Profit Saga, book 1

Profile: https://hahafiction.com/books/orconomics-a-satire-f1f01bd2/

A fallen dwarven hero takes a dangerous chance to recover his standing, alongside companions who hardly inspire confidence.

## What makes it funny?

The quest’s heroic promise comes with an unpromising team. Pike explicitly presents the book as comedy.

### The comedy at work

Its comic premise makes redemption depend on adventurers who fall short of the heroic ideal. That mismatch supplies a specific point of entry into its fantasy satire.
