Kate expects a family wedding in France to be awkward. Recognizing her ex-husband as the attractive man across the room makes it worse. A favor then sends them traveling through France and Spain together. The romantic comedy rests on the embarrassment of discovering that the person you left may still be someone you want.

## What makes it funny?

Kate discovers her daughters have kept Hugh’s transformation quiet. A chance to enjoy someone else’s abandoned honeymoon by herself then becomes a road trip with him, after her family objects to her going alone.

### The comedy at work

Kate wants to escape her old life, yet her family keeps steering her back toward Hugh. A lavish holiday puts familiar marital habits and unexpected attraction into close quarters.

### Try this if…

Second-chance romance and a luxurious European escape are the main draws. Dani Loves Books enjoyed the grown-up relationship and the way the reasons for the divorce remain part of the story.

### Good to know

Expect an extravagant itinerary: Dani Loves Books found some of the holiday arrangements over the top.
