# Momo the Ripper

By C.R. Dryad · The Lighter Side of Darkness, book 1

Profile: https://hahafiction.com/books/momo-the-ripper-9ab980a6/

Struggling college student Momo Lim wakes in a cavern shared by necromancers and skeletons that can think. The cult sees a use for her: someone so harmless-looking could carry out its covert missions.

## What makes it funny?

Momo is a timid, sleepy art student taking on a role usually associated with menace. Her new colleagues are introverts too, which gives the necromancer cult a less intimidating social life than its name suggests.

### Try this if…

Momo's growing confidence accompanies her gains in class levels. The adventure has a lighthearted approach to necromancy, with resurrection, missions, and battles along the way.

### Good to know

Anjali Bhimani narrates the audiobook. Momo the Ripper begins The Lighter Side of Darkness series.
