# Lipstick, Lies & Dead Guys

By Jennifer Fischetto · Gianna Mancini Mysteries, book 1

Profile: https://hahafiction.com/books/lipstick-lies-dead-guys-6c985e04/

Gianna Mancini can talk to ghosts, but she would happily stop talking to Emma Tinsdale. Helping the dead woman leave her apartment becomes a murder inquiry when one of Gianna’s relatives is framed for Emma’s death.

## What makes it funny?

Emma is an unwanted houseguest as well as a ghost. Gianna’s reason for helping her begins with the very ordinary wish to get someone she dislikes out of her home.

### The comedy at work

Fischetto makes a supernatural gift inconvenient: speaking with the dead means accepting demands from people Gianna would rather avoid.

### Try this if…

For readers who like amateur investigations with ghostly complications and relatives who get involved in the case.

### Good to know

Previously published as One Garish Ghost & Blueberry Peach Jam; the two titles refer to the same book.
