Tyme abducts middle-aged plumber Dave Deranger to take part in a cosmic scavenger hunt. If Dave loses, Earth is destroyed. He goes into the contest carrying Vevor, his heavy pipe wrench.

## What makes it funny?

Dave's qualifications make an odd application for saving Earth: plumbing, a Nintendo championship, and an Olympic silver medal in boxing. His wrench keeps the cosmic assignment attached to his day job.

### Try this if…

Dave can save his progress and return to an earlier point after a deadly mistake, but each retry costs a magical talisman. Those limited second chances accompany the loot and improving stats of a game adventure.

### Good to know

Last Save Dave is the first novel in its series.
