NSLICE-00P is a cybernetic enforcer built to destroy her masters' enemies. After she is hacked and sent back in time, she kills her own creator before he can build her, and the paradox throws her out of her reality. She lands in a world of skills and levels with a dungeon core, no orders and no programming to stop her.

## What makes it funny?

Readers who enjoy the book describe comedy that stays straight-faced. The heroine is deliberately flat and literal-minded, so ordinary people in a fantasy world get a visitor who takes everything at face value and handles it with nonchalant overkill. Readers also single out the system voices that argue with each other as a fun touch.

### The comedy at work

Much of the humor comes from the heroine's personality meeting normal people, and readers compare her deadpan literalism to Spock or Data. The publisher's own framing is a killing machine free to do whatever she wants and still learning not to blow things up.

### Try this if…

Fans of deadpan comedy and of LitRPG with a time-travel cyborg twist are the readers most likely to enjoy it. Those who want constant jokes should weigh the reactions below.

### Good to know

Reactions to the humor split. Some readers say the comedy runs through the book, but other listeners did not find it very funny, with one saying to expect little humor and another finding a repeated rat joke unamusing. A rat king side character is repeatedly called annoying. Listeners also mention long stat and level-up passages, running 7 to 12 minutes per chapter in the audiobook. The setup includes graphic violence, since the heroine is a killing machine who kills her creator, and readers did not flag sexual content or strong language. This is book 1 of Terminate the Other World!, a spin-off of the author's Faceless Minion series.
